I recently visited Aditya Vision store to buy an air conditioner. But honestly, I was quite shocked to see the prices there. Compared to online shopping sites like Amazon or Flipkart, the prices here are easily ₹10,000 or more higher. Yes, I understand that running a physical store has its own costs, but such a big price difference is not acceptable.
On top of that, you have to do a lot of bargaining to get a decent price. A reputed store like Aditya Vision should have fixed and fair prices. Customers should not have to negotiate like they are at a local bazaar.
Also, even after charging such high prices, they still add a separate delivery charge. Online sites give free delivery at much lower prices, so why can't Aditya Vision do the same?
Another thing I noticed is that the sales staff kept suggesting AC models that I was not even interested in. It would be much better if they listened to the customer first and then made recommendations accordingly.
One important tip if you are buying from this store, always pay by cash. Even though they show credit card offers and discounts, cash payment mostly works out cheaper in the end. Not sure why this is the case, but that is how it is.
My recommendation is only visit Aditya Vision if you need to buy something urgently and cannot wait for online delivery. Otherwise, online shopping is clearly a better option as you get lower prices, free delivery, and zero bargaining headache.
